A few short notes about wedding flowers

DSC_0376-56-2

Ryan and Emily – The family’s beautiful farm set the stage for Ryan and Emily’s rustic vintage romantic wedding. This truly was a family affair – painting fences, building fire pits and stringing lights – it became a magical celebration blessed beyond measure with God’s hand on every detail.

Emily Hodgin Forbes – My wedding flowers could not have been more perfect! Barb did not miss a single detail and it was evident how important it was to her that my personality was expressed in her creations. When you hire her you know she will pour love into each bouquet, boutonnière, centerpiece, and anything else; making her floral designs so much more special than any I can image. I swear she designs with her heart more than her hands. I have yet to see a bouquet she has designed that is not only beautiful but is absolutely perfect for the bride it was created for.

Bailey Godfrey, photographer – Barb is an incredible florist. She is thoughtful and passionate about her work but even more importantly about her clients. Having a vendor who listens to AND hears your dreams for your wedding is hard to come by and so valuable!

Not only is Barbara incredibly talented, she is also organized, professional yet personal and loves to make your flower visions come to life. My wedding flowers were absolutely gorgeous…better than I even dreamt they would be. Thank you so much Barbara for your hard work and for the loving touch you put on every one of our bouquets, boutonnières and lantern pieces. We are so blessed to have found you! God bless you and your wonderful business ❤️

  Yoji and Hilary

“My flowers were even better than I envisioned! She captured the natural, flowing style that I love.”

Working with Hilary and her mother was such a blessing to me – from our first meeting to Yoji and Hilary’s wedding day, every conversation blessed me – always so loving and kind and appreciative.   I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet them and be a small part of their wedding planning.

Paige and Brodie

Paige and Brodie – “The flowers were absolutely perfect!  They were exactly what we wanted”  It was so fun to work with this couple – incorporating special touches – for Brodie – camouflage ribbon wrapping the boutonnieres and fishing elements and for Paige – attaching a family picture into her bouquet.  They were so relaxed and joyous on their wedding day – just what we always hope for.

Noah and Paige in Los Angeles

Paige and Noah chose a small intimate restaurant with a beautiful garden for their sweet evening wedding.  Paige is my extraordinarily talented and lovely niece.  I was so honored to create her wedding bouquet, Noah’s boutonniere and a few family pieces.  Our families are spread across the country and Noah’s family is from Argentina – so we literally came from all over the globe for their wedding.  Our family is huge and continues to grow -so getting together for weddings is always a fun and special time.  It truly was a wonderful celebration. We even managed to hike up to the Observatory and had the best Mexican tacos the following afternoon in a old historic park that was tucked away in the hills of Los Angeles.

Paige and Noah chose soft peach and palest of yellows for their flowers – perfect for April in sunny and just warm enough California.
